ANDY JOHNSON

Andy has had a very successful 17 year professional football career in which time he has played for Norwich City, Nottingham Forest, West Bromwich Albion, Leicester City & his current club Barnsley FC.

His career started out as a England youth international at Norwich City before joining Nottingham Forest in 1997 for £2.5 million. He played 119 times for Nottingham Forest scoring 19 goals from central midfield before moving to WBA in 2001. Andy made 131 appearances for WBA in 5 successful seasons scoring 7 goals. His performances ensured two successful promotions to the Premier League in 3 years. During his impressive time at WBA Andy gained 14 International caps for Wales of which he is very proud.

Andy is a Football Consultant for SLM and is responsible for player affairs both on and off the field. Andy is a great character to have in the team and his enthusiasm, sense of humour and passion for football is to be admired.
