Neil
has been involved in Sports
Management since 1991
having worked with and
represented players from
the Premier League through
to the Non leagues in
respect of contract and
commercial needs. Some
of Neil’s current
and past clients include
Danny Mills, Darren Eadie,
Craig Bellamy, Chris Sutton,
Trevor Benjamin and Craig
Flemming.
Neil
was also a more than competent
athlete, representing
England and Great Britain
on a number of occasions
which included European
and World Cup appearances
in a British vest and
it was during this period
that he came into contact
with the world of Sports
Management for which he
has since used to his
advantage for client representation.
He
initially became involved
with professional football
as a fitness advisor having
worked for BUPA as a Sports
Consultant. In the early
days he helped Norwich
City with pre-season preparations
and said the best way
to win respect from the
players was by doing the
sessions with them and
although at times he had
to deal with some good
humoured banter and flack,
he equally dished it out
and forced the pace even
harder during the intensive
running sessions.
His
advice on a number of
matters soon led to players
making personal contact
with regards all aspects
of on and off the pitch
activities. Neil is also
heavily involved with
many top professional
boxers on a promotional,
managerial and fitness
capacity and since those
early days of setting
up Sportlink, it has now
grown to a level whereby
you will regularly see
many famous faces from
the World of football
and professional boxing
either paying visits to
the Sportlink offices
or running around the
parks and footpaths of
Neil’s home.
Neil
also runs Sport Link Specialist
Sports Ltd with ex-England
International Danny Mills.
His retail outlet based
in Norwich gives specialist
advice on correct equipment
for individual and specific
needs in Football, Rugby
and Netball.
